Meredith Weigert

Hi, I’m Meredith Weigert, a Paraplanner at Omnica Wealth. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, concentrating in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. My academic foundation reflects my belief that life, much like financial planning, is constantly evolving.

Prior to joining Omnica Wealth, I worked as an environmental chemist and quality assurance specialist, where I developed strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. I now bring that analytical mindset to the field of financial planning and am currently pursuing certification as a financial professional.

My experience has reinforced the value of establishing a thoughtful plan while remaining flexible as circumstances change. Maintaining a long-term perspective helps support informed decisions and meaningful goals. Growing up, I benefited from having a knowledgeable financial professional looking ahead on my behalf, which inspired my desire to help others in the same way. With a strong interest in sustainability, I aim to help clients build adaptable financial plans that support their best interests throughout their evolving lives and circumstances.

Outside of work, I love to travel, attend live music concerts, solve puzzles, and experiment with gardening. I am happiest when I am outdoors—whether hiking, soaking in the scenery, walking my dog, or exploring a nearby city. New England has my heart, offering endless opportunities for adventure just around the corner.
